Wildlife Warriors Conservation Taster Day
Thatcham Nature Discovery Park
Come along to have a go at practical conservation and find out more about the wildlife clubs on offer for children at the Nature Discovery Centre. 8-16 year olds, 10:30 – 12:30. Free activity, but booking essential.

Make & Take: Batty Decorations at Reading Museum
Drop in to create your own scary decorations in time for Halloween the following day.

Green Hallowe’en at Nature Discovery Centre, Thatcham
Mr Alexander’s travelling show makes a welcome return to the centre with his unique and captivating blend of magic, juggling, unicycling, balance and illusion. Meet representatives of the local wildlife trust, and the RSPB. Make a bird box to take home, learn how to identify tracks and trails and help the Mammal Society with a national survey. Have a go at making a bat kite from recycled materials and discover how to make informed lifestyle decisions for a greener future. Bring your bike to enjoy a cycling treasure hunt around Thatcham, search for pumpkins and collect a prize at the end.
Don’t forget to come in your best Halloween costume to try to win a prize for your family!

Spooky Late Night at the Museum
We will be running after dark tours of the galleries finishing with some fun Halloween craft to take away. Ideal for groups or families who want to experience the Museum in a whole new light! Don’t forget to bring your torch!
