Stargazing Live in Berkshire

Professor Brian Cox and Dara O’Briain have spent the last 3 nights showing us the wonders of the sky at night and encouraging astronomers young and old to get out our telescopes or binoculars and try stargazing for ourselves. The final episode broadcast on the BBC last night, but it’s not too late to join in. Local events are still taking place this weekend and most are free: Stargazing Universe

Check the BBC Stargazing Live website to find out about local events.

Braywick Nature Reserve in Maidenhead is hosting its own Stargazing Live Event this Saturday 21st January from 6pm (refreshments available). Take your binoculars and wrap up warm – it promises to be an exciting evening for all budding astronomers! Let’s just hope for a clear sky!
